Mechanical Permitting: After the Fact

Gordon & Gordon Engineering demonstrated its agility in resolving a complicated permitting issue for the installation of a double-stack exhaust for large paint booth plenum installed by a contractor years prior at Hammer Haag Steel Inc.

The effort included the on-site inspections of the installation, documentation of discrepancies of the installation compliance to the equipment manufacturer requirements, NFPA standards, and Florida Building Code. We dispositioned the corrective actions and verified of the satisfaction of the installation. We created and approved the as-built drawings and then filed the requisite permitting documentation with a signed & sealed PE endorsement to the county to resolve the mechanical and environmental permitting issues for the installation of the booth for our customer.
