Defense Project: Advanced Travel Pod

Gordon & Gordon Engineering provided materials guidance to a Prime Contractor for the design and approval of a composite cargo pod under the auspices of the Air Force SEEK EAGLE Office.

The lightweight pod is installed in the F-35 Lightning II weapons bay and provides more than twice the carrying capacity of metal pods with a 40% reduction in the empty pod weight.
